Description: Mitsuko is above average height for a Japanese female at about 5'7". She has short pink hair and blue eyes. When not in uniform, she can generally be seen wearing a lot of black and blue clothing. Her played-by is Yashiro Uzuki from The World Ends With You; please ignore the wings in her icons should she get in.
Personality: A hard worker and a perfectionist, Mitsuko has the tendency to be pretty damn hard on herself. If it doesn't fit her definition of "perfect", it's just not good enough. She throws herself into work with her full potential and tends to expect others to do the same, getting irritated when they don't; of course, this implies that she's not irritated about something -else-, which is fairly rare. She's the sort who will take over a project if she feels it's not going quickly enough. This isn't to say she never has any fun; she does take time out to enjoy herself fairly regularly. She's just really serious about her work and tends to put it before anything else.

Though not very friendly to people she's just met, if one can get on Mitsuko's good side, they'll find her to be a fairly pleasant, if very high-strung, person. However, she won't hesitate to tell a friend off if they're making an ass of themselves or being an idiot. She also tends to kick their asses into gear (sometimes figuratively, sometimes literally- depends on her mood, really) if they're supposed to be doing something important and they're not.

Mitsuko never holds back in a duel. In her more serious duels, she'll take every opportunity she can to take not-so-playful jabs at her opponent in an attempt to throw them off their game.
History: She was born in Tokyo and lived there until she was around ten years old. Ever since she was young, her mother and father were constantly pressuring her to give 110% effort in everything she did- anything less just wasn't good enough for them. Eventually, she and her family moved to Domino because of her mother's job. There, during what little free time she had, she picked up the basics of Duel Monsters. She grew to really enjoy the game and proved to be really good at it. Of course, most of her time was still spent studying her ass off due to her parents' expectations.

when Mitsuko was about fourteen, she found out about Duel Academia. By this point, she was really starting to crack under the pressure of her parents' expectations, and she was genuinely interested in the school. Besides, if she could convince them to pay for her to go to Duel Academia, she would have more freedom. Of course, getting their approval was a long, difficult process, but she eventually managed to do it.

While she was at Duel Academia, she got to relax a bit. Of course, she still worked hard, but since she wasn't under the watchful eyes of her parents anymore, she could breathe more easily. During her time there, she met Katou Jin. The two became friends and she took part in some of his adventures at the academy; during one such adventure, she met her spirit, Double Coston.

After she graduated from Duel Academia, she went to a good college, got awesome grades, and all that good stuff. And then the Duel College opened up. She applied there, since what she was really interested in doing with her life was working in game design for her favorite game ever, and she got in. Hell, yeah.
